Well, that game last night was a real punch in the groin, wasn't it? Personally I know that I shouldn't care about pitcher wins and losses, as they're an awful, awful bit of statistical medievalism, but in certain cases logic flies out the window and I get upset when bullpens blow leads for pitchers. It happens with R.A. Dickey (also in part for reasons I've discussed before), and it's already started to happen with Matt Harvey. To pitch the way he did last night and miss out on that absurd bauble really irks me, for some reason.
And of course the Mets lost too, which is the actual tangible thing that I should be upset about. Anyway, let's all cleanse our palates with some Pick 6. That should help.
