Noah Syndergaard, Michael Conforto, Kevin Plawecki, Dominic Smith, Amed Rosario, and Brandon Nimmo were all featured in Keith Law's top 100 minor league prospects.

On the heels of releasing his rankings of farm systems in which the Mets came in fourth, Keith Law has released his top 100 minor league prospects at ESPN (Insider required). His rankings feature six Mets prospects, headlined by Noah Syndergaard at 17th overall, whom he said "seems like the safest bet of any of the premium pitching prospects on this list."

After Syndergaard come 2014 first-round pick, outfielder Michael Conforto, at number 41, catcher Kevin Plawecki at 45, first baseman Dominic Smith at 65, shortstop Amed Rosario at 69, and outfielder Brandon Nimmo at 91. This list features a strong group of position players despite the conception that the Mets' farm system is generally deep on pitching but light on position players.

Notably absent from his list are left-handed pitcher Steven Matz and second baseman Dilson Herrera. Both of these players have featured highly in other rankings around the web after they found success at the upper levels of the minors in 2014.
