The newly signed outfielder answered fan questions today on the Mets official twitter handle.
For half an hour yesterday, new Mets outfielder Michael Cuddyer took over @Mets, the team's official Twitter handle, to answer fan questions. Cuddyer, as you would expect, kept his answers fairly generic, but he did provide some insight into his mindset and expectations for the 2015 Mets. He believes that the Mets can contend in the near future.
.@FLMetsFan973@mcuddy23 I'm looking forward to winning games, seeing our young staff grow, and living in NYC full time. #ThrillOfTheGame

.@MoKir55@mcuddy23 I like our chances. I came here wanting to play in the postseason. Staying healthy will be huge. #ThrillOfTheGame

Cuddyer also seems indifferent to everything he can't control in his new situation.
.@Showtiime27 I've hit everywhere so whatever helps our lineup score runs. I'm just about winning baseball games @mcuddy23#ThrillOfTheGame

.@StevenNYM65@mcuddy23 It was available, and I'm not a huge number guy. I used to wear 3 and 5, and those were taken. #ThrillOfTheGame

.@JimmyDeLancey It really doesn't matter to me. I've played every position in the bigs except shortstop and catcher. #ThrillOfTheGame
