When the Mets got to Wrigley Field, the Cubs had the worst record in baseball. That's not the case anymore.

The Mets lost to the Cubs again on Thursday night, wrapping up a sweep at the hands of a team that had the worst record in baseball entering the series. Jacob deGrom wasn’t good, as he gave up four runs in five innings with three strikeouts and three walks. But the Mets managed to tie the game at four on a pair of run-scoring singles by Ruben Tejada and Chris Young in the sixth and a two-run home run by Andrew Brown in the seventh.

The tie didn’t last, however, as Vic Black gave up a go-ahead home run to Anthony Rizzo in the seventh, his second inning of work, and Jenrry Mejia gave up two more in the bottom of the eighth. Let’s all pretend this series didn’t happen.
