Juan Uribe is hitless in his last 18 at-bats.

The Dodgers continued their free fall on Friday, getting mauled 9-0 by R.A. Dickey and the New York Mets. It was the sixth straight loss for the Dodgers, who have followed up their 33-inning scoreless streak with another streak of 14 innings.

The Dodgers have scored in just one of their last 48 innings, dating back to Sunday.

They have lost 10 of their last 11 games, scoring 15 runs during that span.

James Loney is 0-for-25. Juan Uribe is 0-for-18. Carlos Lee anyone?

Dickey came into the night with two one-hitters in his previous three starts, and appeared poised to add another one. Dickey pitched into the seventh allowing just one hit, and that hit came off the bat of Aaron Harang, who was 1-for-27 on the season entering the game.

Dickey would ultimately allow three hits, but no runs, dominating the Dodgers with 10 strikeouts in eighth scoreless frames. But Dickey could not yet join Dave Stieb, who pitched three one-hitters in 1988, the only man to have three in one season.

Elian Herrera started the game at third base, then moved to right field in a double switch in the sixth inning. The last 10 Dodgers to play those two positions in the same game are Herrera, Russ Mitchell, Wilson Betemit, Cory Snyder, Lenny Harris, Pedro Guerrero, Enos Cabell, Candy Maldonado, Derrel Thomas, and new assistant general manager Mickey Hatcher.
