The Mets' offense was not exactly on fire, but a few players were proficient and David Wright returned to form.
Over the past week, the Mets scored 30 runs in six games, raising their average to 4.28 runs per game on the season. They scored those runs this week despite a .287 wOBA that ranked 21st in all of baseball over that span. But they had a very good week on the bases, per Fangraphs' baserunning metric, and continued the trend of scoring more runs than anyone would expect out of a team that's not hitting very well.
