The Mets' offense was not exactly on fire, but a few players were proficient and David Wright returned to form.

Over the past week, the Mets scored 30 runs in six games, raising their average to 4.28 runs per game on the season. They scored those runs this week despite a .287 wOBA that ranked 21st in all of baseball over that span. But they had a very good week on the bases, per Fangraphs' baserunning metric, and continued the trend of scoring more runs than anyone would expect out of a team that's not hitting very well.

Andrew Brown, OFWith a .522 OPS for the week, Brown couldn’t do much for the Mets.
Travis d’Arnaud, CIt’s encouraging that d’Arnaud was able to get on base at a .333 clip despite hitting .200, but with just three singles on the week, this was not a great one.
Ike Davis, 1BIke went 1-for-5 with a walk in his last days with the Mets.
Lucas Duda, 1BEl Dudarino had an .821 OPS for the week, and with Davis gone, he really does appear to be the Mets’ primary first baseman.
Curtis Granderson, RFThere’s nowhere to go but up for Granderson, who hit an unbelievable .053/.050/.053 for the week. Perhaps the walk-off sac fly will spark a resurgence.
Juan Lagares, CFSay it ain’t so, Juan. The gifted defender finds himself on the disabled list with a hamstring injury.
Daniel Murphy, 2BHe might have had just one extra-base hit, but Murphy hit .345/.333/.379 for the week and swiped a bag successfully.
Kirk Nieuwenhuis, OF--Kirk got on base at just a .286 clip but managed to slug .500 thanks to a home run and a few other hits.
Omar Quintanilla, SSWhile Quintanilla’s .708 OPS for the week wasn’t bad by the lowly standards of shortstop, it’s still hard to see him as a solution to the Ruben Tejada problem.
Anthony Recker, CRecker had a .969 OPS in three games and has been much better than anyone could have reasonably expected through the first three weeks of the season. Of course, he’s only made 23 plate appearances thus far, so approach his .395 wOBA and 154 wRC+ on the year with caution.
Josh Satin, 1BSatin surprisingly made just one plate appearance over the entire week. That’ll happen on the short side of a platoon.
Ruben Tejada, SSTejada’s slash line was identical to d’Arnaud’s. That was not a good thing this week.
David Wright, 3BWith a 1.000 OPS on the week, David Wright officially returned to being David Wright.
Chris Young, OFYoung got his first hit and nabbed a stolen base after returning from the disabled list on Friday, but he didn’t hit much more and badly misplayed a ball in center field into a Justin Upton triple.
Eric Young Jr., LFYoung went 4-for-5 in stolen base opportunities. More importantly, he had a .448 on-base percentage, which allowed him to attempt to steal bases.
