Meet the Mets
The Mets announced the signing of righty Bartolo Colon last night after he presumably passed his physical. Colon is a medical miracle, writes Marc Carig, after he saved his career with a controversial stem cell treatment. At ESPN's Sweetspot blog, Tommy Rancel points out that Colon is a one-trick pony but says that the Mets should enjoy him.
