On Wednesday night, both New York baseball teams will be in action against division rivals. The New York Yankees will play the second game of a three-game set against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park, while the Mets will host the Washington Nationals at Citi Field.
The Yankees dropped Game 1 on Tuesday night after Jacoby Ellsbury came through in the bottom of the ninth inning with a walk off RBI single. Currently tied with the Tampa Bay Rays for first place in the division, the Yankees will look to bounce back on Wednesday night.
The game will be nationally broadcasted on ESPN with first pitch scheduled for 7:10 p.m., ET; it can be heard on radio by tuning into either WCBS 880 or WADO 1280.
The Mets will look to avoid a sweep after dropping the first two games to the Nationals. Wednesday night's broadcast can be seen on SportsNet New York and can be heard on WFAN 660. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m., ET.
