David Wright and company get together to sing you a holiday song.
In honor of the holiday season, the Mets have decided to do something special for their fans. No, it's not a big-time free agent, but this season’s greetings card is almost as good.
David Wright joins Matt Harvey, Travis d’Arnaud, Lucas Duda, Justin Turner, Dillon Gee, Zack Wheeler, and Mr. and Mrs. Met to sing the wintertime classic "Sleigh Ride" and wish everyone a "safe and happy holiday season from your friends at the Mets."
And it sure is something. Using the 20-80 scouting scale, here’s how each player’s performance grades out:
· David Wright: 70 charisma, 65 singing, 80 smile. Once again, Wright proves that he’s the only one on the team capable of doing anything right.
· Justin Turner: 80 grission, 70 Christmas cheer, 40 rhythm.
· Lucas Duda: 20 everything. TRAID.
· Dillon Gee: 65 dancing, 45 singing.
· Jon Niese: 75 laughing, 35 singing, 25 Christmas cheer.
· Travis d’Arnaud: 35 singing. Needs more time in Vegas.
· Mr. and Mrs. Met: 80 adorable, 80 mascot, 80 sleigh riding.
· Zack Wheeler: Only talks, no singing. 20 teammate. #blamewheeler
