Alex Rodriguez's Yankee Stadium debut went poorly, as the slugger went 0-4 with 3 strikeouts. Mariano Rivera also blew a save, allowing a two-run homer to Miguel Cabrera before the Yankees eventually won it. Unrelated to the game, Mark Cuban ripped Bud Selig regarding A-Rod's suspension and how Selig runs the league.
On his new radio show, former big leaguer Jack Clark claimed, among other things, that he knew for a fact that Albert Pujols used performance enhancing drugs. Pujols reacted quickly saying he'd take legal action against Clark. Then this morning, Clark was fired.
The Rangers have acquiredAlex Rios from the White Sox in exchange for a PTBNL or cash. The player is rumored to be infielder Leury Garcia.
Jose Reyes, Jose Bautista, and Edwin Encarnacionspoke about the performance enhancing drug situation in the Dominican.
