Jacob deGrom had as good of a start as there's ever been in Major League Baseball. The Mets' king of lucious locks struck out the first eight batters he faced - en route to thirteen K's, but the bullpen couldn't hold the lead, as the Mets perished, 6-5. There was bad news for the Mets bullpen today, as Vic Black has a rotator cuff strain and appears to be done for what's left of the season.
