The Rangers and Cubs are close to a Matt Garza trade, though it's not complete yet. Jeff Passan reports the deal could include third base prospect Mike Olt, and starting pitchers Neil Ramirez and C.J. Edwards, as well as Cubs' lefty James Russell.
While Yasiel Puig has been great, Ted Berg points out that the best Cuban ballplayers may be yet to come. Speaking of Puig, watch this ridiculous throw he from right field made last night (Harper was definitely out!) and the ridiculous catch he made soon after. Not everything is great for Mr. Puig, though, as he's being sued for $12 million.
Former Baseball Prospectus writer turned politics guy Nate Silver is headed back to the sports world, as he'll join ESPN to work on Keith Olbermann's new show. NO POLITICS!
