After a riveting Home Run Derby last night that kicked All-Star week into full swing, things wrap-up tonight with the 84th edition of the MLB All-Star game at Citi Field in New York.

Mets right-handed pitcher Matt Harvey gets the start for the National League team, and he will likely throw two innings in front of his home crowd. Detroit Tigers right-hander Max Scherzer will get the ball to start for Jim Leyland's American League squad.

Atlanta has three All-Star selections in closer Craig Kimbrel, first baseman Freddie Freeman and catcher Brian McCann. As most of you know, Freeman will not participate in the game due to a hand injury suffered in this past Saturday's game against Cincinnati. Here are starting lineups for each team:

American League:

  1. Mike Trout, LF
  2. Robinson Cano, 2B
  3. Miguel Cabrera, 3B
  4. Chris Davis, 1B
  5. Jose Bautista, RF
  6. David Ortiz, DH
  7. Adam Jones, CF
  8. Joe Mauer, C
  9. J.J. Hardy, SS
National League:
  1. Brandon Phillips, 2B
  2. Carlos Beltran, RF
  3. Joey Votto, 1B
  4. David Wright, 3B
  5. Carlos Gonzalez, LF
  6. Yadier Molina, C
  7. Troy Tulowitzki, SS
  8. Michael Cuddyer, DH
  9. Bryce Harper, CF
Nothing against the National League, but that American League lineup is just absolutely loaded from top to bottom. Harvey against the top of that order to start the game will be an absolute treat.
