Daisuke Matsuzaka allowed a series of damaging two-out run-scoring hits, dooming the Mets in yet another one-run loss at the House of Horrors.

The Braves took the first lead of the game on an RBI single by Christian Bethancourt in the bottom of the second. A Curtis Granderson two-run homer briefly gave the Mets a lead in the top of the third, but a Freddie Freeman RBI double tied the game in the bottom half. A run-scoring hit by opposing pitcher Mike Minor in the fourth put the Braves back on top, and was followed shortly by a knife-twisting two-run single by Andrelton Simmons. Atlanta's rallies were especially troubling since all of their runs were scored on two-out hits. A two-run Daniel Murphy homer in the top of the fifth brought the Mets a little closer, but they couldn't scratch against the Atlanta bullpen.

Full recap to come.
