Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (34–22)______________________________________
RENO 4, LAS VEGAS 3 (Box)
The 51s had this game fully in its grips until it all fell apart in the seventh inning. Las Vegas was up three to nothing early. Left-hander Darin Gorski started the game, and hit Roger Kieschnick to begin the seventh. Bobby Wilson was up next and singled to center, and then Kieschnick and Wilson advanced into scoring position on a Juan Centeno passed ball. Gorski then allowed Danny Dorn to single on a ground ball to right fielder Andrew Brown, allowing Kieschnick to score and Wilson to scamper home on the error by right fielder Andrew Brown. After a Didi Gregorius sacrifice fly, John Church was called in to relieve Gorski. Church retired Nick Ahmed on a strikeout, but then Alfredo Marte took him deep to right and the damage was done, Las Vegas now looking up at Reno with a score of four to three. On the 51s' side of the ledger, Brown had an RBI double in the first inning, and Omar Quintanilla had a double of his own in the second to knock in two. In the defeat, John Church picked up his first blown save and loss of the season. Down nothing to one in this four-game series, hopefully the 51s can redeem themselves in game two, which begins at 3:05 ET.

Double-A - Binghamton Mets (30–24)______________________________________
BINGHAMTON 2, NEW BRITAIN 3 (Box)
For Binghamton on Saturday, hits were common enough, but runs were scarce. The Rock Cats' Virgil Vasquez held the B-Mets in check, allowing only two runs in his six innings, the first on a first inning Kevin Plawecki sacrifice fly, and the second on a Darrell Ceciliani single in the fifth. Matthew Bowman threw a dominant seven innings for Binghamton, striking out 12 and walking none. The third inning was Bowman's undoing, as he gave up three singles and hit a batter to allow two of New Britain's three total runs. With the loss, Bowman's record drops to three and three. Having dropped the first two of this three-game series, the B-Mets hope to redeem themselves today when they send Greg Peavey to face the Rock Cats' Pat Dean at 1:35 ET.

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (32–23)______________________________________
DAYTONA 3, ST. LUCIE 4 (Box)
St. Lucie did all they needed to do in one inning of work on Saturday to take the first game of this four-game series from the Daytona Cubs. The Mets waited for the Cubs' Felix Pena to be pulled, and then plated all of their four runs in the sixth inning against reliever Jose Rosario, who gets hung with both the blown save and the loss. Jairo Perez did most of the damage for the Mets, knocking in three on his one-out bomb to left. Gabriel Ynoa tossed a solid six innings to take his record to five and two. The bullpen did enough to hold the Cubs in check, though Aderlin Rodriguez and Randy Fontanez did their best to make it interesting. Rodriguez capped off an awful night at the plate with an error in the top of the ninth, and then Fontanez got knocked around for two runs before Chase Huchingson was brought in to lock it down and record his first save of the season. Steve Matz will be on the bump for St. Lucie today in game two, which kicks off at 1:00 ET.

Low-A - Savannah Sand Gnats (36–16)______________________________________
ROME 2, SAVANNAH 6 (Box)
Like St. Lucie, the Sand Gnats waited for the Braves' bullpen to appear before doing their major damage. Down one to nothing, Savannah scored twice in the seventh inning and three times in the eighth to topple Rome six to two. Champ Stuart was in the middle of the late-inning surge, blasting a solo homer in the seventh and plating two on a single in the eighth. Robert Gsellman picked up the win in his seven innings on the mound, allowing two runs on six hits while striking out four and walking two. With the win, Savannah is now up two games to one in this four-game series. The deciding game pits Matt Marksberry against the Sand Gnats' John Gant, and it kicks off today at 2:05 ET.
