After rough starts for each of them in their last outing, Franklin Morales and Jenrry Mejia will look to get back on track as they face off at Coors Field.

The Rockies will look to win their third straight game over the New York Mets at Coors Field tonight as southpaw Franklin Morales takes to the mound for his sixth start of 2014.

Morales struggled in his last outing in Arizona, taking 99 pitches to throw five innings, allowing four runs on seven hits with a pair of walks and two strike outs. The offense did pick him up, as he got his third win in the Rockies' 8-5 victory. Morales' struggles in Arizona came after a pair of starts in which he allowed a total of two runs in 13 innings with just three walks and a dozen strikeouts. He will look to regain that form against the Mets tonight.

Mets youngster Jenrry Mejia also struggled in his last outing in Miami, allowing six runs in 5 2/3 innings on eight hits with a walk and six strikeouts in a 7-6 Mets loss. His previous two starts were also very good, as he did not allow a run in 11 2/3 total innings against the Diamondbacks and Cardinals.

Justin Morneau and Wilin Rosario will get the night off for the Rockies, replaced in the lineup by Ryan Wheeler and Jordan Pacheco, respectively. Carlos Gonzalez will return the lineup tonight, playing left field and batting third. He will be joined in the outfield by Drew Stubbs in center and Charlie Blackmon in right.

The Mets will see Lucas Duda return to the lineup in place of Josh Satin at first base and Anthony Recker will be behind the plate for Travis d'Arnaud.
