Matt Harvey underwent Tommy John surgery six months ago today, and celebrated by tweeting out a bird-flipping photo taken post-procedure. Before deleting it, anyway.
Nothing is ever deleted for real on the Internet, though:
If you're seriously offended by this, you probably work for the Mets. Harvey not only deleted the tweet, but also his entire Twitter account, an action that can be an indication that a player just got a stern talking to from his team.
If the Mets' PR team is going to be like this about Twitter, we should probably start rooting for Logan Morrison to get traded to New York. Then we'd at least get some productive deleting.
