Bronson Arroyo got smacked around by the Mets' offense and Kirk Nieuwenhuis had a huge game in his return to the majors, as the Mets beat the Arizona 9-0 last night and got back to .500 on the season. Jenrry Mejia looked great over 5 shutout innings before a blister issue caused him to leave the game. Gonzalez Germen tossed 3 innings of relief and Kyle Farnsworth threw a clean 9th.

The Mets' outfield is in a state of flux with the injuries to Juan Lagares, who is now on the disabled list, and Curtis Granderson, who is feeling better.
