Your Tuesday morning dose of New York Mets and MLB news, notes, and links.
Meet the Mets
Good morning Mets fans! Even though the Mets won last night, they paid a toll to do so by losing both Curtis Granderson and Juan Lagares to injury. Adam Rubin reports that Granderson, who hit his arm on an exposed outfield stanchion, didn't break anything, but will be monitored because of soreness. Lagares, who appeared to hurt his hamstring as he legged out a double play, is likely headed for the DL.
