It was mostly another futile week at the plate for the Mets.
The Mets' anemic offense continued to be anemic in the second week of the season. If there's an upside here, it's that their 3.92 runs per game are tied for tenth in the National League. And there are at least a couple of hitters—David Wright and Curtis Granderson—who should be much better hitters than they have been to this point of the young season.
