For those so inclined, box scores for the GCL Mets, and DSL Mets Two.
Star of the Night
For someone who had very little draft leverage as a college senior coming out of the University of Michigan, Patrick Biondi can become a potential menace on the basepaths. He added two more stolen bases last night, and added three walks. That's a damn good night especially when not a whole lot good was occurring in the Mets' system.
Goat of the Night
I guess the D.J. Mitchell bullpen experiment has hit a snag. Since being converted to a reliever after his June 22 start, he had two decent relief appearances before the bottom fell out last night. He's really in the prospect weeds now at age 26 with a new role in AAA.
