Triple-A - Las Vegas 51's (4-1)_______________________________________

SACRAMENTO 6, LAS VEGAS 7 (Box)

Thanks to a couple of rainouts, this was the only game that was played in the Mets system yesterday. It was an exciting, back-and-forth affair that featured the 51s offense drawing nine walks and slapping 11 hits. Still, they needed a walk-off single from Matt den Dekker in the bottom of the ninth to secure the victory. Speaking of the bottom of the ninth, it featured some interesting baseball decisions. Zach Lutz led off with a walk, but was forced out at second on a Daniel Muno sacrifice bunt. Muno then tried to steal second, but was thrown out. Cesar Puello was then able to draw a walk and successfully steal second. After an intentional walk to Juan Centeno and a pitching change to bring in a lefty, den Dekker singled to score Puello.

Double-A - Binghamton Mets (2-2)_____________________________________

      Star of the Night

Lots of good performance offensively last night but let's go with Zach Lutz, who made it on base in all four trips.
